While Dunfermline Rugby Football Club owns and is responsible for the maintenance of the changing rooms and shower facilities, and also the ground to the north of the access road at McKane Park, Dunfermline Sports Club owns and manages the pavilion which includes the bar and catering facilities, committee room, toilets and the stewards flat and is responsible for meeting the attendant costs which include staff wages, heating, lighting, rates, insurance. television, telephone, repairs and maintenance etc.

The Dunfermline Rugby Football Club constitution requires playing members and patrons of the Club to be members of Dunfermline Sports Club. Conversely, the Dunfermline Sports Club constitution requires members of Dunfermline Rugby Football Club to be ordinary (full) members of Dunfermline Sports Club.

Consequently, annual subscriptions, as fixed at the respective Annual General Meetings of both Clubs, are combined and are due for payment on 1st November each year or at the time of joining.
